UNO One For All

#UNO1FORALL SOCIAL MEDIA COMPETITION

(Received Second Place In UNO’s First Ever #UNO1ForAll Competition in 2019)

I participated #UNO1ForAll Social Media Competition to challenge myself to do something out of my comfort zone. The main objective was to show how we represented the First Amendment throughout a social media campaign. The competition ran through a 5-week period and at the end, the participants presented to a panel of judges our campaign tactics and analytics.

The First Amendment is one complicated matter, but it is so powerful to our country. “Freedom of expression is important for understanding of our world’s knowledge and truth, it’s the search for what our world is about,” says UNO panelist/judge.

SNAPCHAT FILTER

I created a Snapchat filter that went live the day of the competition to engage students in person to see what the First Amendment means to them. Over 30 students used this filter and sent to me/posted on their stories.

TWITTER POLLS & FACTS

I utilized Twitter by posting Twitter polls of First Amendment facts, current events and light-hearted content to further engage students and followers. I reached over 23,000 accumulative engagements.

INSTAGRAM POLLS & FACTS

I utilized Instagram with a more personable approach. I posted photos of myself to tell my story while still posting informational stories. I recieved an accumulative impression reach of 4,000 and over 500 #UNO1ForAll hashtag clicks from curious followers.
